About Me

I’m a creative professional with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Art and Media and a passion for blending technical expertise with artistic vision. For nearly 10 years, I’ve worked at Saint Leo University’s Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence, where I’ve taken on a wide range of roles. In my early years, I served as an administrative assistant to the Associate Vice President and collaborated with Vice Presidents on projects, gaining experience in coordination and higher-level administrative work. Over the past 4 years, my work has been dedicated to graphic design and web management, my true passion.

As the project manager of a 300+ page university department website, I led its migration to a new platform, designing the layouts, creating all the graphics, and delivering the project under a tight deadline. I continue to oversee and evolve this dynamic site, constantly updating, revising, redesigning, and enhancing it to improve user experience and accessibility. In addition to site management, I design custom graphics and collaborate closely with colleagues to bring campaigns and events to life.

Before transitioning into the world of design, I spent many years in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery field, where I received formal training and assisted in surgeries such as Le Fort osteotomies, bilateral sagittal split osteotomies, dental implants, bone grafting, and many other complex procedures. I was also responsible for case workups, which included photographing patients before and after surgery and using advanced 3D imaging programs to help doctors plan the details of each procedure. Whether it was determining jaw alignment adjustments, planning chin implants, or preparing for other intricate surgeries, I played a key role in ensuring precision and optimal outcomes. Additionally, I trained doctors on how to use these imaging programs, which further honed my problem-solving and technical skills—qualities I now bring to my design work.

My artistic background spans painting, drawing, photography, interior design, and crafting. This creative foundation, paired with my technical experience, helps me approach every project with a unique blend of detail and creativity.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, traveling, shopping, and exploring new ways to express my creativity through crafting.
